Hammam rooms are a Middle Eastern variant of a steam room which date back to the early 16th century.
Dedicated to the Hamman cleansing rituals, this traditional method of bathing, uses special techniques in the warmth of the Hammam room to cleanse and exfoliate impurities from the body.
Aachen Wellness balances modern design and technology with tradition. Our custom build Hammam rooms come with a tiled preparation area and steam room. And at its centre, a massage table or ‘belly stone’, the focal point of every Hammam Room, where bathers receive treatments.
Versatile Treatment Rooms
Not only can our treatment rooms be used as Hammam rooms, they can also be purposed as a Rasul Mud Room or as a more conventional steam room.
We will install three options on an easy-to-use control panel so you can then choose what type of wellness experience you wish to have. Our wellness and treatment rooms include:
- A heated slab in the centre of the room
- A Vichy shower positioned above the heated slab
- Optional steam introduction
